Meet Darren Edwards
- Owner, Founder
Darren’s journey began in Tomball, Texas, where he grew up on a family farm, learning to care for animals and cultivate fruits and vegetables. His passion for cooking ignited early on, inspired by his grandmother’s homemade meals. Fond memories of Sunday dinners with family fueled his desire to pursue a career in hospitality and ultimately become a chef.
After high school, Darren immersed himself in the hospitality industry, honing his skills in catering, sales, and management through roles in waiting tables and bartending. Driven by a dream to establish his own business, he founded Elite Catering by Darren in 2015, settling in the vibrant city of Houston, Texas.
Despite early challenges, Elite Catering has grown into a thriving business, bringing Darren’s signature blend of passion, professionalism, and personal touch to events across Houston and beyond. Reflecting on his journey, Darren credits his family for instilling in him a love of cooking and community spirit that continues to guide his career.
